By downloading, installing, or using SoilIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of SoilIQ, including the free tier and SoilIQ Pro subscribers.
SoilIQ grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the App.
Subscription details: SoilIQ Pro is an auto-renewable monthly subscription priced at $4.99 per month. A 7-day free trial is included for new subscribers.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain Pro access until then.
Free trial: The 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, payment of $4.99 will be charged automatically.
Restore purchases: You may restore your subscription on any device signed in with the same Apple ID. Use the "Restore Purchase" option in the app.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple. Contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
SoilIQ does not operate a remote user database. Account information (name, email) is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Apple, your Apple ID credentials are managed by Apple and are not accessible to SoilIQ.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). This permanently erases all locally stored account data and preferences from your device.
Soil temperature data is sourced from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) and NOAA/USDA climate normals. SoilIQ provides soil temperature estimates based on meteorological models and historical averages. This data is intended for general agricultural and horticultural guidance and should not be relied upon as a substitute for direct soil measurement instruments in commercial or safety-critical applications.
SoilIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Apple's WeatherKit service. Weather and soil data is provided by Open-Meteo under an open-data license.
You agree not to use SoilIQ for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the operation of the App, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or to use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
All content, design, code, and data within SoilIQ — including the PlantAI engine, climate zone database, and all UI elements — are the intellectual property of SoilIQ and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SOILIQ MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOILIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF CROPS, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
SoilIQ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
